In Pandapé ATS, you have the ability to customize the forms related to the Admission and the Vacancy applications. These forms give you the flexibility to adapt the platform to your company's specific needs. By customizing the forms, you can streamline the candidate selection process and collect relevant information in a structured way.
How to create a new custom form
To create a form from scratch, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Go to the section Configuration by clicking on the "gear" in the top bar.
2️⃣ In the category Forms management, selectManagement.
3️⃣ On the Forms managementclick on New form and choose the type of form you want to create, either for Admission o Requests.
Use case: Form for requesting information about the work team to new employees
Imagine you need gather information on the equipment that each new hire needs to start working in the office. Using a customized form, you can obtain the necessary data to ensure that new team members have the right tools to carry out their job tasks.
Let's get started!
1️⃣ First, select New Admission form:
Immediately, in the window New customized formfill in the following data:
2️⃣ Form name: Assign a descriptive name to your new form.
3️⃣ Type of form: Select "Pattern" (this field is only populated when creating a new custom form from Admission).
4️⃣ Activate the option Enabled to be completed by Pre-Collaborator. This setting will allow the pre-collaborators you have added to your Admission plan to fill out the form.
5️⃣ In the section Form fieldsIn this example, select and drag the field you are interested in. In this example, we will use the multiple choice field:
Each time you add new items to your form, a pop-up window will open where you can configure field-specific details:

2. Establishes a descriptive name for the field. |

3. Define the assembly directionThe display can be horizontal or vertical, according to your viewing preferences. |

4. Use the option Source of data to select from the list of available options. In this case, we will use a previously created data source on "Teamwork" which includes elements such as: keyboard, additional monitor, headphones, etc.. See our article: Data source management for more information. |

5. Establishes a minimum mandatory marking to ensure that users select at least one item of equipment. |

6. If you wish to show or hide additional fields based on the answers above, you can use the conditional logic option. |
6️⃣ Once you have configured the field, click on Save to add it to the form:
Continuing with the previous use case, you would add additional fields to request information about the delivery method of the work equipment. In addition, you can use the conditional fields "Show and enable the if field". to display specific fields only when a particular type of delivery is selected.
7️⃣ Finally, make sure you click on Save form to apply the changes and save the new form:
With these steps, you will have successfully created a new customized form in the Admission. From now on, every time you add a pre-collaborator, your new customized form will be displayed on your Dashboard for you to complete:
Types of fields to build your form
Below is a list of the available fields that you can use to create your form.
- Text field: A type of field that allows the user to enter text into a form, such as the candidate's name.
- Field list: This type of field allows the user to select an option from a predefined list of options, such as the level of education attained.
- Numerical field: This is a field type that only accepts numeric values, such as the candidate's telephone number.
- E-mail field: This type of field is specifically for entering e-mail addresses.
- Date field: It is a type of field that allows the user to select a date through a calendar.
- Time field: This type of field allows the user to enter a time through a list of times.
- Single selection field: This is a type of field that allows the user to select only one option from a list of options, such as the candidate's marital status.
- Multiple selection field: This type of field allows the user to select several options from a list of options, such as the candidate's skill set.
- File field: This is a type of field that allows the user to upload an attachment, such as the candidate's resume.
- Empty space: This field is used to insert an empty space in a form, which can be useful to separate sections or information in a form.
- Title: This type of field is used to add a title to a section of the form, which can be useful for separating and organizing information.
- Dividing line: This type of field is used to add a dividing line in the form, which can be useful for separating sections and organizing information.
