Data sources are essential for managing your lists of Allowlist and Blocklist in Pandapé ATS, allowing you to control who can apply to your vacancies to ensure the quality of your applications. This guide will show you how to manage these sources, either manually or by importing a CSV file.

Creation of a new data source
To start creating a data source, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Go to the section Configuration by clicking on the "gear" icon.
2️⃣ In the category Source of dataclick on Management:
3️⃣ Click on New data source:
4️⃣ In the popup window, fill in the required field Name of data source. E.g., "Blocklist - Applicants not allowed".
5️⃣ In the optional field Related data source you can link this source to another source. For more details, see the "Field specifications for Allowlist and Blocklist lists.".
6️⃣ In the field Available for, select "Company and branch" only if you have more branches and want the font to apply to all of them. Otherwise, keep the default option "Company".
7️⃣ Finish by clicking on Save.
You can then add data to your source using two methods: importing a file o entering data manually. In the following sections, we explain how to use each option.
Add data to your source using a CSV file
To import data into your source from a .csv file, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Click on the option Import file:
2️⃣ Download CSV template from the pop-up window.
3️⃣ Inside the archive, fill in column "A: Name" with the e-mail addresses of the applicants you wish to block or allow on your mailing list. Allowlist and Blocklist
3️⃣ Optional fields: you can add descriptions (in column "B") and identifying keys (in column "C"), as needed. Consult the table "Field specifications for Allowlist and Blocklist lists." for more information about these fields.
4️⃣ Upload the updated file: by clicking on Include file > select it from your computer and click on Import.
Add data to your source manually
To manually create the list of users you want to allow or block, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Choose the option Insert new data:
2️⃣ In the required field NameEnter the applicant's e-mail address.
3️⃣ Fill in the optional fields as required. Consult the table "Field specifications for Allowlist and Blocklist lists." for more information about these fields.
4️⃣ Click on Save.
For add more applicantsclick on Insert new element and repeat the steps for each additional email you wish to add:

In the following table, we detail the function of each field for the creation of data sources for your Allowlist/Blocklist lists:
Field | Description: |
Name (Required) | Enter here the email address of the applicant you wish to allow or block. |
Description:(Optional) |
Add additional details. For example, if it is a Blocklist, you can add the blocking reason:"Applicant with false information", "Non-compliance with prerequisites in previous applications."etc. |
External key (Optional) | Enter a unique key or ID to identify this applicant to facilitate internal management. |
Active/Inactive (Optional) |
This switch is active by default, but you can deactivate it if you wish. E.g., if an applicant who was previously blocked is now eligible to apply, you can deactivate him/her by keeping his/her blocking history. |
Related item (Optional) |
This field allows data sources to be linked together. E.g., if a company wants to block applicants for a specific subsidiary, you can create a data source with the names of the subsidiaries and associate it with the applicants you want to block. |
Once you have your data source ready, you will be able to easily configure it in the Allowlist and Blocklist .
