When applicants register their postal code with the city (department, district or province, depending on the country) When they sign up for your offers, Pandapé ATS automatically geolocates them.
This allows you to view the closest applicants to your vacancy, know the distance between your location and the place of workset up automatic filters for select candidates according to their proximityamong other actions.
These functions will be available as long as your offers are geolocalized and the applicants have entered the specified information.

1. Updating your company's zip code and vacancies
To use the geolocation of your applicants, it is essential to have your company's zip code and your vacancies updated.. This will allow the system to calculate the distance between your candidates' location and the offer.

2. Grid of candidates by distance in an offer
At any stage of a geo-localized offer, except at the stage "Lead"you can rank candidates by their proximity to the vacancyfollow these steps:
1️⃣ Access to a geolocated stage of your offer and displays the sorting options menu.
2️⃣ Select the option Distance:
3. Distance map in registrants' profile
When an applicant enters their zip code with the city and the offer is geolocated, you can see the distance between your location and the vacancy by means of an interactive map.. Follow these steps to access this information:
1️⃣ Go to one of the stages within your geolocated vacancy where the candidate of interest is located.
2️⃣ Locate the candidate's address details and click on Open map:
In this interactive map you can see the distance between the candidate's location and your offer, estimated travel time and the public transportation options to reach the vacancy location.
4. Distance filter in the applicant pool
Apply a distance filter on your Own candidate base to find candidates within a specific distance. This is useful if you want to recommend candidates for a vacancy located in a particular area. Follow these steps:
1️⃣ Go to the Candidate base and in the Filters panel on the left, click on More filters:
2️⃣ Displays the filters of Location and locate the filter By distance:
3️⃣ Use the slider button to select the distance in kilometers:
4️⃣ Enter the zip code. You can select it from the list or type it manually:
5️⃣ Finally, click on Apply Filters. This will display geolocated candidates (those who have entered their zip code with the city) within the specified distance.
5. Automatic distance filtering in the selection process
If your offer is geolocalized and the applicant has registered his/her zip code with the city, you can automatically filter candidates according to their distance in kilometers from the vacancy in the first stage of your selection process.
Below, we explain how to use this functionality by means of a use case.
Use case: Security guard vacancy
For a vacancy of "Security guard"are required candidates within 5 kilometers of the offer to ensure rapid response in the event of an emergency.
Follow these steps to set this condition:
1️⃣ In the first stage of the process Registeredclick on + Include automatic movement:
2️⃣ In the pop-up window, select the option "In accordance with the following conditions" and displays the list of Automatic filters:
3️⃣ In the filter "those with a distance from the warning less than or equal to"he writes 5 kilometers.
4️⃣ Select Include in the drop-down menu so that only candidates who are 5 kilometers or less from the offer are automatically included.. Candidates who are more than 5 kilometers away will be discarded from the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if a candidate has not entered his/her zip code?
Candidates who have not entered their zip code will be skipped in the automatic filtering with Smartrecruiting and the sort by distance and distance map options will not be applied to them.
If a candidate has not entered his/her zip code, can I update it?
Yes, if you know the candidate's zip code, you can easily register him/her by updating his/her CV information within the Candidate base or from your profile in an offer.
